Terms & Conditions are set out for the safety and enjoyment of all guests staying. Failure to adhere to our terms and conditions may result in reservation cancellation.

Personal Information

All personal information collected from you is maintained securely and is required to meet the requirements of Australian Federal or State legislation regarding the maintenance of a guest register, for fire safety reasons, for accounting and billing purposes and to market our services to you.

We will not make this personal information available to any third party without your prior consent except where required by law or to enforce our collection of amounts owing by you. We will not knowingly permit any misuse of this data. You may request access to personal information we hold about you. If you do not provide us with this information, we may be unable to provide you with accommodation

Early Check In

We do not guarantee availability of an early check in unless you book and pay for the unit for the night prior to your early arrival. Early Check in Fee maybe applied to your Reservation.

Late Check Out

Check Out is strictly 10.00am. Departure after 10.00am, may incur additional charge of up to the equivalent of another nights accommodation or part thereof. 

Maximum Occupancy:

Only the number of people designated on booking or check-in may stay in the unit overnight. The maximum occupancy per unit is 2 Adult Persons. Any extra people will be advised to leave. Due to law and fire safety regulations only the maximum occupancy is allowed. Sorry we are unable to cater for Babies, Toddlers and young children under the age of 14. Children must be of an age where they can sleep in their own bed in their own room.

Purpose/Disturbances:

The motel grounds / motel unit is not to be used as a gathering place for partying or the like; The property must not be used for unlawful purposes and guests are requested   to adhere to the rules ensuring  peaceful enjoyment of the location as any disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Warnings: If the guest receives a warning or the occupancy is terminated and the guest fails to comply with the vacation notice. The Owners will be authorised to do whatever is legally required to enforce the eviction on any Guest and the removal of the Guest’s property.

Inspections:

The Owners may inspect the motel unit(s) at any time without notice should the managers opinion be that there is/has been or is likely to be a breach of these terms and conditions.

Eviction:

The Owners reserve the right to evict guests staying who have caused or are causing damage or disruption to the motel and its guests. If the occupancy ends or is terminated, the Guest must immediately vacate the premises. The Owner is authorised to do whatever is legally required to enforce the eviction of any Guest and removal of Guests property.

Valuables:

You agree any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought in or on to the motel grounds or car-park remain your responsibility for their safekeeping. No responsibility is taken for any property left by a guest at the premises.

Cancellation Policy:

48 Hours Notice is required for all bookings. Should the required notice not be given, the first nights fee is charged and retained. If you have booked with an Online Travel Agent, cancellations must be made via the Agent you have booked with. If your reservation has been made online with a Third Party Agent, check the website for terms and conditions regarding No Shows and Late Cancellation. 

Refunds:

We are not required to provide a refund for change of mind or unscheduled departure.

Reservations made online will have bank fees and merchant charges deducted from the refund amount.  

Fees chargeable to guest accounts may include, but are not limited to:

Damage due to: Smoking in units and outside the units including disposal of  butts in pot plants and gardens – all units are non-smoking.  Food and Drink Service areas, being the undercover area outside the units are subject to Queensland Government Legislation and no smoking in these areas within 10 meters of the unit doorway.  Smoking area is the grassed area across the road from the Lodge.  Unit degradation (such as vomit, bodily waste, general damage, excessive dirty carpet, Linen and Towels, excessive cleaning and rubbish) –Damaged unit items– $100 fee or more depending on extent of loss/damage and item that has been lost/damaged. Lost or stolen keys –  cost of replacement lock and keys approx $120.00. Any problem sufficient to result in the unit being withdrawn from its availability for let ie: an unsaleable condition – extra daily room tariffs may be charged based on business demand at the discretion of the Owners.
